Cindy Bombard-Gotto
Cindy Bombard-Gotto was born in Italy and grew up near Boston, Massachusetts. She earned her associate’s degree in accounting from Massasoit Community College, started her career in retail, and quickly advanced to the role of Assistant Controller at a major pharmaceutical company by age 21.
In 1993, after beginning a family, Cindy relocated to Naples, FL, where she partnered with her father to establish Paradise Painting and Decorating. Her responsibilities in the business included overseeing all bookkeeping and estimating, which enabled her to care for her daughter during the day while pursuing her education in the evenings. In 1996, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Hodges University.
In 2000, Cindy joined a Naples accounting firm, became a Partner in 2006, and earned her Certified Public Accountant designation in 2009. She then moved on to start her firm, Cindy Bombard CPA, PA, in the Fall of 2011. Cindy is an active member on both the local and national levels with the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Cindy has a strong interest in supporting local non-profit organizations, particularly those that provide services for individuals with special needs. From 1996 to 2023, she volunteered at a local therapeutic riding center, dedicating 10 of those years to serving as the Board Secretary. Recently, she joined the Finance Committee at Empowerment Farm. Empowerment Farm aims to cultivate a stronger community through group programs and workshops with animals and plants. Their focus is to connect people to nature, inspire healthy life choices and empowerment through sustainability. Click here to learn more. Empowerment Farm
Kim Dennis
Kim Dennis grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. Kim attended DePaul University for two years before transferring and graduating from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 1996. Immediately after her graduation ceremony, Kim hopped in her car and left the snow behind, relocating to Naples.
She accepted her first post-graduate position at a flooring company as an administrative assistant, working with and learning from Administrative Manager Cindy Bombard-Gotto. Five years later, Cindy left to pursue a career in public accounting, and Kim assumed the role of Administrative Manager, handling all bookkeeping and payroll duties for the next 17 years.
While Kim and Cindy had always hoped to work together again, they were not able to create the opportunity until early 2018. Kim has always loved the challenges inherent in accounting & bookkeeping and feels a tremendous sense of accomplishment when she can put all the pieces of a financial puzzle together.
